'Blueberry Hill'의 원곡은 1940년에 발표되었으며, 
작곡가 빈센트 로즈(Vincent Rose)가 곡을 쓰고 
알 루이스(Al Lewis)와 래리 스톡(Larry Stock)이 가사를 공동으로 완성했습니다.
이 곡을 처음으로 녹음하고 발표한 원곡자는 
새미 케이(Sammy Kaye)와 그의 악단입니다. 
이후 1956년에 팻츠 도미노(Fats Domino)가 부른 버전이 
전 세계적으로 가장 큰 히트를 기록했습니다
